Welcome
to Heidi Village!
Who
doesn’t know the little girl called Heidi from the mountains
above the town of Mainenfield, near Chur, Switzerland? Here is the
original playground from the Heidi novel written by Johanna Spyri in
1880. In Heidi Village, old and young visitors can take an emotional
trip, back through time, to the 19th century. Because, here, almost
everything is still the same as when Johanna Spyri was inspired by this
area and wrote her book: the original Heidi house, the goat stable, the
village well and village store. A footpath next to the house leads up
to the Alp where Heidi spent her most beautiful years with her
grandfather. More information can be found at: www.heididorf.ch.
Heidi
Village Houses
This
idylic Alpine scenery is excellent for model train layouts or for
dioramas. The large assortiment of realistic products and building
materials offered by Busch - for mountains, forests, landscapes, etc.,
are the finest you can use. The center of attention in this scene are
the two famous houses from the novel (1442 Heidi's original house and
1443 Heidi's original chalet). The kits are finely detailed and easy to
build.
